Dear Helen,

Thank you for your email. Now I would like to tell you something about my extracurricular reading after I enter high school. Usually I read comics. Sometimes I read magazines or newspapers but I never read classic books.

The reasons are as followed. First, since entering high school, I have been burdened with so much homework that my reading time is limited. Besides, I haven’t formed a habit of reading. To me, I just read comics and cartoons to relax myself. Lastly, some classic books are difficult to understand and so I don’t like them at all.

However, reading has many benefits. Reading can help us think better and make our life more colorful. So I decide to read widely, ranging from comics to classics.
